ATSC Terminator for PVC Polymerization Acetone Thiosemicarbazone Improve Whiteness & Thermal Stability

Ⅰ. Purpose:
Acetone thioamine (ATSC) is added to the reactor in the later stage of the reaction, which can terminate the reaction quickly
and improve the whiteness and thermal stability of the product.
II. Quality Indicators:
Appearance: white powdery crystals
Content (%): ≥80
Iron content (ppm): ≤10
Melting point (° C) 172±3
III. Uses and Methods of Use:
This additive is incorporated during the polymerization of PVC resin production when the conversion rate reaches
approximately 80%, with an addition rate of 0.03-0.05% VCM monomer. In emergency scenarios, it can be added at 5%-8%
VCM monomer to halt the polymerization within seconds. (Users may adjust the dosage as needed.) For application,
prepare the ATSC solution at 3% (mass fraction) using an alkaline solution and store it for use.
IV. Packaging and Storage:

This product is packaged in 25kg paper drums with plastic-lined inner bags or customized packaging as requested. It should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and rain, with a shelf life of one year.
